July 2022- Wisconsin SCBWI Webinar

April 2022- Central and Southern Ohio SCBWI Webinar

Becky discussed her road-to-publication story for Escape to Play–a book that was seven years in the making. From creating her own LLC to launching a successful Kickstarter pre-order campaign, working with editors and designers to producing, storing, and shipping 1000 books, Becky learned a ton about what it takes to blaze one's own trail in the publishing world. She shared the trials and triumphs of her journey, as well as discussed important topics that all creators considering independent publishing should be aware of.

"Becky did a fabulous job with her presentation to our authors and illustrators. She clearly outlined the process of publishing and gave great tips and pitfalls to avoid. She was a joy to work with and I would highly recommend her."
